I made the above recipe using a pre-assembled kit from FreshDirect (enter any Manhattan zip code, ie, 10001), but were I to make this again (and I likely will), this is how I would do it…
- slice the pork thinly and marinate it. the way they did it, it’s fairly bland, what a waste of Berkshire pork.
- cut the veggies more evenly. huge chunks of the bok choi remained uncooked. unpleasant at best, disgusting at worst. and cook the veggies separately, don’t just lump them into the pan all at once, because some take longer to cook than others.
- more sauce… I like sauce over my rice.
