I love macarons, and was super excited to be invited to attend the launch party of Macaron Parlour’s second location – this one on the Upper West Side.
The space is bright, airy, and adorable – the perfect place to pop by, grab a snack or a breakfast treat, or meet up with a friend for afternoon treats.
They even have these adorable dog treats – they look like mini bacon cheeseburgers, don’t they?! – mini macarons for doggies! All of the ingredients are listed on the outside of the container so you can double check for those doggies who have restricted diets (as mine does; she’s allergic to a few things).
Given free reign to try any macarons I wanted, I sampled the Party Time – salted milk chocolate and dulce de leche – and really enjoyed the balanced flavor here. The second one was far more interesting to me – a Cheetos macaron! While it didn’t smack as much of Cheetos as I might have liked, it was definitely an interesting combination.
I also tried many other goodies not pictured – including a lemon poppy muffin (a light bite perfect for mornings) and a pop-tart like item that I warmed in my toaster oven that tS REALLY liked. The cookies were great too.
If you’re up around that area, I highly recommend stopping in to give their goodies a try. Grab a seat and stay for a while… quality coffee, delicious treats, and a great space make this the place to hang out!
*Please note that while I attended the event as a member of the press and received all my goodies free of charge, I was under no obligation to post anything at all and did not receive monetary compensation to do so. These are my opinions expressed herein.

Any savory items I might enjoy?

There are savory items on the breakfast menu (almond croissant, a couple of cheese scones), but I didn’t get to try any of them so can’t attest to how they taste.
