Disappointed as I was on Saturday that a certain place had run out of Valrhona chocolate pudding, I picked up a container of their banana pudding instead and um, can I tell you that I am officially obsessed with banana pudding now? This is only the 2nd time I’ve ever had banana pudding (I KNOW WHERE HAVE I BEEN?) but I am now determined to make it and make it without extract in such an amaaaaaaaaazing way, that I would have to share the recipe. So if you have one, please share. It was really good. Wow.
Then I headed off to my sister’s to spend time with the nephews – had the older one open his recent birthday presents from me & “Uncle” (the BF, of course), BF played PlayMobil with him for hours, pizza from Mama T’s and then headed back home to bliss out. Love relaxing days like this. A good start to spring break 🙂

I’ll give the banana pudding a shot some other time. All about chocolate lately and too much sugar intake so no pudding, cake or pie unless I can’t control myself…
Glad you spent time with family on your stay-cation. Hopefully the weather keeps getting better.

Is this from crumbs? I’ve seen the Magnolia pudding recipe floating around. The secret ingredient? Instant vanilla pudding.
Screw that. Why am I paying for instant pudding mixed with condensed milk? Time to make my own! 🙂

Okay, instant vanilla pudding or not, the Magnolia Bakery banana pudding is SPECTACULAR. It has little banana chunks and big Nilla wafer pieces in it. You’ll get a large container of it thinking that it’ll last you a couple of days, but you’ll find it gone in 2 minutes.
