Despite the crazy persistent snow and yuckiness… and the horrible slush all over the city on today… I managed to run into the city early to take care of some stuff, and then head down to Taste of 7th with some of my favorite readers. We managed to hit every spot before it went crazy with the lines – thankfully we all arrived relatively early to the crowds! – and enjoyed some bites of 7th Street. Some of those places, I have to go back and check out in more depth… full write-up to come (in a month!). Afterwards, we went restaurant-supply-store-hopping&shopping, where TT picked up mandolins for $28.50 a piece, and I got a bunch of nifty items that I can’t wait to send to Laura in the UK 😉 along with Hershey’s Chocolate (apparently unavailable in the UK). *squee
Post-shopping, went up to a surprise baby shower, then back downtown to meet up with the BF for a movie with TT & CT. Unfortunately, the movie was sold out; fortunately, we went for ramen and dessert… after BF and I had inhaled pizza already. Hahahaha! Yes that is how I roll. I still ate 😉
That was a pretty awesome Saturday!

Glad you had a nice Saturday. The lines at Caracas and Luke’s Lobster were crazy when leaving the fest.
