Today was a gorgeous, wonderful, amazing, awesome day. The weather was excellent for a nighttime walk, so I strolled around doing my own thing and came across this. What.the.hell.is.that??? I don’t know, but it creeped me the hell out, and I had to take a snap. *shudder
Of course, it isn’t just a quick walk that makes a day gorgeous, wonderful, amazing and awesome. I had a full day of incredible food: toasted pumpernickel bagel with cream cheese, then a full Southern (North Carolina style!) Sunday Supper: NC-style pulled pork, homemade cole slaw (no mayo), homemade dinner rolls, roasted brussels sprouts with bacon & garlic, and a green salad just to try to be healthy. Mmm, so delicious, and yet I’m still full hours later. Oh, and ending with a strawberry love cake, with modifications to that original ‘recipe’/method to fix the problems I listed there. Mmmmmmmm. Yes I will be posting recipes/pics/methods to the whole meal, a perfect meal enjoyed greatly… a huge Sunday Supper such that there are plenty of leftovers for the rest of week of great nommy eating. Nom, nom, nom. Happy day… and more Sunday Suppers to come! Can’t wait!!!
