I went to Sports Authority today to pick up a swimsuit for my first swim lesson, tomorrow! Only… then they cancelled all classes tomorrow on account of all this snow we’re due to get. Hmmm. I’ll believe it when I see it! Though I must say, I then went to Trader Joe’s (which is next to Sports Authority) and omg, it was the BUSIEST I’ve EVER seen it – and this was at 3:30 on a Tuesday! What gives? People stocking up for the storm, I guess, but I won’t starve even if I got blocked into my apartment for a week. I just wanted to pick up some cold cuts for sandwiches (to bring to school), and I picked up shredded carrots just cuz I like to have those on hand, and then two boxes of mango&cream bars (possible review to come cuz they are that good).
In between I stopped by Panera for lunch – 1/2 chicken cobb (yes that’s a half salad; I’m terrified what a full salad might be!) and a cup of the garden veggie soup with pesto… mmm good. All that for $8.05 – see that hunk of bread they include? That.is.the.bombs.dig! I love their bread *shiver

I never understood the mad dash to the supermarket when snow is coming. At most you’ll be stuck inside a day or two. Seriously, I could survive for a good month (if not longer) if I was trapped inside my house. Don’t get me wrong, by the end we would be eating some weird meals – but we’d make it through.
