Recently, the entire Feisty Family was invited to the Bon Appétit Culinary Studio to sample some items from Alexia Foods. Alexia makes a variety of frozen products such as french fries and onion rings in a variety of flavors. What separates them from their competitors is the use of all-natural ingredients and small batch production. The studio was a nice room in the Condé Nast building in Times Square with a fancy kitchen and a nice sized lounge area. I’m a strange bird. A place can be on my list for quite a while, for whatever reason, and for no solid, real reason will it jump to the very top. I’ve mentioned Blue Smoke in the past with regard to Citi Field – their stand there used to have really delicious chipotle wings that they’ve since removed from the menu (yes I’m still bitter).
