I may have mentioned that I did a ton of research on NYC’s most essential burgers (article AND video to come… as soon as they’re done editing it!) and ate roughly 40 burgers in a 3 month span last year. Maybe not. Well, this was one of the first — y’all know how big of a fan of Michael White I am, and I had to give the White Label burger a quick try. Unfortunately, it’s only available for dinner – but when I emailed them, they were happy to accommodate and allow us to have the burger for dinner, in the lounge. That’s great customer service.
I was still drinking at the time, so I ordered a happy bubbly cocktail. This was August, Jinx was happy, I don’t recall what it was.
Those potato puffs are insanely delicious. I could eat those for eternity.
8 ounces of LaFrieda prime burger, bacon marmalade, white American cheese, thick cut pickle chips and spicy mustard on buttery brioche to catch those juices. While the toppings work wonders together, the beauty lies in the magic of the meat still shining through and remaining the star of the show… as it deserves to be.
Despite us sitting in the lounge, they still sent out a few sweet bites to finish the meal. Perfection.
I love Ai Fiori! While I can’t say I would be able to resist the dinner menu my next visit there, the burger was a solid start to 3 months’ straight of burger binging.
