Exciting news!!! Macy’s Culinary Council is turning 10, and they’re having a huge 10 year birthday party! Why is this exciting to you? Because you can gain entry to this party just by doing something you probably do anyway.
I headed over to Macy’s Herald Square to get my shopping groove on and was greeted by lots of these signs up everywhere! They explain in detail what to do in order to earn tickets to next Tuesday’s fabulous celebrity chef filled bash. Which you can also read here.
If you’ve never been to Macy’s Herald Square, I highly recommend you take a look. It’s a whole floor – the entire basement, really – of kitchen and home stuff that just makes you want to wander around and ooh and ahh over stuff.
Which is what I did, sneaking photos like a total creeper.
If you need help, someone will gladly show you around and help you find what you’re looking for. But if you don’t and politely decline, they totally leave you be to wander around and ooh and ahh (me over this pink Kitchen Aid stand mixer that I swear will one day be mine… OH YES IT WILL!!!).
In any case, from now until October 15th, make any purchase over $100 in the Macy’s Herald Square Home department, and show your receipt in the Macy’s Herald Square Cellar, and they will give you TWO tickets to the 10th anniversary party!!! Woohoo!!!
I’ll be there too, so you should totally run over and score your tickets now! It promises to be a lot of fun and a total hoot’n’holler good time!
I would tell you what I bought, but… it’s a present for someone who reads this site, so I can’t divulge 😉 But I promise you she will love it!
