Have you ever wished you could be by my side when I attend one of these crazy tasting events where I eat more than a woman of my size should rightly be able to? Watching in disbelief as I stuff one… more… bite… down my gullet? Cuz I know some of you totally don’t believe I can eat as much as I often seem to…
WELL NOW YOU CAN.
Fresh Direct, one of the Burger Bash (presented by Pat LaFrieda Meats, hosted by Rachael Ray)’s sponsors, has graciously provided me with a ticket for me to attend the event, and a ticket for one of my lucky, lucky readers to join me. The event is sold out, and tickets are valued at $225 each!
And really, you know you want to hang out with me. (Or you know, I guess you could just go by yourself, but would you give up the opportunity for my brilliant commentary?) There promises to be lots of food celeb sightings, too – so if you’ve always dreamed of telling Rachael Ray exactly what you think of her, or canoodling with… who’s the hot celeb chef of the moment? – you may just have your dream come true.
Here are the details of the event:

As for how to enter – simply leave a comment below with what ingredients you order from Fresh Direct to make the perfect burger. Creativity wins you points with me, though the drawing will be performed by Random.org on October 5th.
Bonus: Fresh Direct is also having a sweepstakes to celebrate their 10th birthday! Like them on Facebook, and enter here. If you win, you can use your prize of a $100 gift card to Fresh Direct to make your perfect burger (and share with me)!
Good luck to everyone!
Contest will end on October 5th around 7pm. Winner will be notified by comment here and email to the address they provide in the form below, so please use a real email address. Fresh Direct provided the prize, though I was otherwise not compensated for such a post. I reserve the right to pick a new winner if I do not receive a response to my initial email within a reasonable time frame, or if the winner turns out to be creepy/says rude things to me.

Brioche rolls, beefsteak tomatoes, red onions, American cheese (I am a purist). No lettuce! Generous on the spicy mustard and a small dollop of ketchup for sweetness.

I love turkey burgers, so I would buy 80%lean turkey, my secret weapon ground cumin(gives them a meaty taste), garlic, thyme, salt & pepper & sauteed onions. Buns?? Martin’s Potato Rolls. & dip my burger in SirKensington’s spiced Ketchup.
Goats says
I’ve abandoned fresh direct for pee pod. Much cheaper. And overall much better selection of food….so to make the perfect burger, I order nothing from fresh direct. I get ground beef from peapod!
cakalusa says
I order a box of burgers. A pack of cheese.
EASY BAKE OVEN!
YEAHHHHHHHHHHH!
Gia says
There’s nothing like a perfectly cooked lamb burger! Picture it: ground lamb, salt, pepper, garlic, some cumin stuffed with some tasty feta. And we can’t forget the tzatziki sauce! You got your yogurt, your lemon zest, your cukes, some dill, some garlic, salt and pepper. Caramelize some onion and put squarely in between lightly toasted freshly baked Fresh Direct bread!! Mmm, gotta have it!
