Hershey’s Air Delight Giveaway!

October 27, 2011 by Feisty Foodie

It’s my birthday week, but you’re getting the presents!  Yup – I’m having a giveaway a day this week, so come back every day at 12:15p to check what else you can win.  Because life is sweet… but it’s even sweeter when you can share it with people you love!

A while back, I was invited to a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that included a helicopter ride to and from NJ, to have a tethered hot air balloon ride (look at my photos!), and to celebrate the launch of a new Hershey’s treat: Air Delights, an aerated chocolate treat.  It was a fun experience and I really enjoyed the tie-in of hot air balloons and aerated chocolate!

An added bonus: they’re offering one lucky reader a prize pack of a bag of the Air Delight kisses, and four bars of Air Delight!  To enter, just leave a comment below (use your real email address) with what excites you about the Air Delight.

Good luck!  Winners will be chosen in a week.

The usual rules apply: prize provided and fulfilled by Hershey’s; open to residents who live in the continental US; not open to Feisty Family employees; winners are chosen via Random.org; I did not receive any sort of compensation for this post, though I did enjoy my day with Hershey’s and received my own chocolate pack for my enjoyment.

The Air Delights look like they have a really awesome texture, something a little more exciting and (dare I say)lighter than a solid, dense bar of heavy chocolate. I really, really want to try one, to be honest.

I haven’t seen these yet. When we were younger there was a bar put out by Cabury called an Aero bar that I loved and they no longer make it and I think it was the same concept…I loved the texture of it. Yum!

The increased surface area inside the chocolates should really accelerate the melting. But only once you have accessed the insides. Chocolate that melts well in your mouth is more enjoyable than chocolate that takes forever to melt.

Is it too late? I love chocolate. My wedding favors had Hersey’s kisses in it.
