My life is amazing because I make it amazing. Think about that: I choose to make it amazing. I know last year at one point, I was stressed out from school and crying nearly every day from the stress, and one day, instead of doing schoolwork, I chose to attend a party with friends I hadn’t seen in a while. I recall writing and posting somewhere that in 20 years, I’m not going to look back and think, “Boy, I’m glad I didn’t go to that party and studied that night,” but rather “I’m so glad I spent time with my friends, who are super important to me.” And I still earned a 4.0 that semester. I just have to keep reminding myself of that notion on a daily basis: a 4.0 doesn’t mean that much in the grand scheme of things. Life is happening all around me, and if I stay indoors all the time, I won’t even realize it’s slipped away.
The above puddle in the shape of a heart made me smile, so I took a photo. I’ll always remember today as one of the best so far. Smiles all around, and Blue Thunder, Blue Thunder, Blue Thunder hoooooooo! 🙂

Cool. Despite breaking the nerd code, studying all the time is definite no way to live life. We all need balance. No neglecting your friends or missing out on fun. Not like you’re always procrastinating all the time…
