Another beautiful day, a wonderful Saturday as I woke up to be picked up – baller style, in a Cadillac – for a Lipton PureLeaf event. Actually, they launched a new product – 0 calorie PureLeaf – and Alex Guarnaschelli (the executive chef at Butter, which is where the event took place – the woman in the center of the above photo) created recipes using the various teas. Above is them showing us the 16-18 lb. whole striped bass they roasted with brussels sprouts and lemon and just… AMAZING. The sauce they created for it, and how moist the fish remained… succulent! I’ll be posting more about that shortly though, so sit tight.
Afterwards, the car service took me to Long Island for my nephew’s 4th birthday party. The little darling does not want to sit still and eat dinner, and Aunt Yvo sat there patiently feeding him… I did explode at one point, but not at him, at his mother. Long story. 😛 Does not warrant sharing here. But a perfectly lovely Saturday once again…

Damn, Balla! At least no Beluga or Dom/ Cristal poppin’.
From Balla to lovin’ Aunt, it sounds like an awesome Saturday despite any conflict. The weather was off-da-chain too.
