The view of New York from the bus to Mitsuwa… I woke up early and hopped on the bus to Mitsuwa. I haven’t been in AGES, and a friend of mine really wants to start learning how to cook Asian foods (um, cuz I’m an excellent guide, right?), so we went to Mitsuwa and I threw lots of stuff in the cart to stock a pantry for Asian food cooking, sort of. I missed some staples and we’ll have to go back, but whatever: I got to eat ramen and katsu (AHHH SO GOOD, post to come), plus green tea ice cream, and ooogle cute Japanese products, and pretend I know stuff about Asian cooking. That works for me. It was a gorgeous day.
Then I went home and pretended like I was going to go out with my boyfriend that night, which totally collapsed and fell through entirely, but you know, whatever.

I have only recently found out about Mitsuwa. Where the hell have I been this whole time?

Mmmm, Mitsuwa! Their seasonal fairs are a lot of fun, but it can get really crowded/crazy during those times.
