Project 365: Day 47

 IMG_1310.JPG

Today was my first swim lesson, which was near disastrous (the only way it could be worse would be if I actually started to drown and required saving).  Then, a long day of classes (Wednesday is my ‘worst’ day, with 11am-8pm being my schedule)… and a mismanagement of the food I’d brought to school left me starving post-class.  (I can’t eat in the cafeteria because it is disgusting, and I don’t mean “I am prissy and don’t eat cafeteria food” prissy, I mean vile and nasty and inedible, though I guess I can eat liquid cheese over bad fries if I REALLY wanted to… I do like liquid cheese, but the bad fries really annoys me.)  So I headed home and wound up at Thai Pot, my neighborhood Thai place.  I haven’t been in a while, so I was happy to revisit and happy to order a duck salad, which I’ve liked greatly in the past.  That’s what you see above: duck, pineapple, cashews, green apple, carrots, a lil lettuce… good stuff.  (I know it’s probably not very traditional, but it’s really tasty, and that’s what’s important to me.)  Nommy.

Post-eats, I took a long walk to clear my head and found myself loving the ‘warm’ night (it wasn’t very cold, especially walking briskly), the beautiful scenery, and I just felt blessed to be alive.  My life is truly blessed… I’m not sure I could be happier or have a better night than tonight.  It’s been a long time coming… much deserved and much appreciated.  Bliss…

Good luck with the swimming. At least your Weds. ended well.
Salad with fruit and nuts in it? No, thanks.

    Peace out. *Snore*

HAHAHA. I saw the original comment this morning.
Steve behaves a lot better when he’s on Yvo’s page. Interesting.
