Sunday morning. Wake up early and head over to my normal spot – HKS – and meet up with Tammy to deliver one of the many prizes from my Feisty Freebie giveaway! (You should have gotten an email by now; if not, it may be forthcoming, so there is still hope! Sorry it’s taking so long!) Thanks for meeting up with me, Tammy – sorry I was late!!! Afterwards, she headed to the bakery next door and I decided to follow her in just to see what might be good there. I saw the above: bacon bread, $1.50. Yes, I snagged one, even though I could clearly see it was more pork floss than actual bacon. Not a bad start to the morning, eh?
After lunch plans fell through, I mushed around the house doing not much of anything – no intention to bring lunch this week, so no need to cook a batch of something to bring to work – and then got off my butt and met a friend in the city for drinks, then had dinner with HB & her BF. Came home, watched TV… a pretty relaxing end to an awesome weekend (hello? I got myself a brand new car?). *beams*

…and now, I’m definitely going to bake some bacon bread! And there will be no pork floss there…thanks for the idea!

The photo won’t enlarge! You are totally not my friend tonight.

No prob, thanks for bringing those things for me! Appreciate it. Elmhurst doesn’t have too many bakeries but Fully is not bad. There’s also a small bakery inside the Pho Bang mall next door, it’s called Rice-N-Tea
