I started off my day by having breakfast at Bouchon Bakery. Belly aching and sick of sugar, a few short hours later I actually then had lunch at Big Nick’s. Yeah, I ate all of that. I went home feeling really sick, but managed to cleanse my system and then headed to my sister’s house for my brother’s birthday dinner, part 2. I arrived a little late and was told to sit and eat; so without even thinking, I grabbed a plate and piled it with a couple of jumbo grilled shrimp, grilled peppers & onions, guacamole, homemade cole slaw and lamb chops (I actually ate 2).
Without even thinking.
I proceeded to have a slice of ice cream cake, then played with my nephews for a bit, went home, laid down, and couldn’t figure out why my stomach was killing me so badly. Ummm, probably because I ate enough to feed 4 people for 3 days… in one short day???
