Another awesome, fun filled, jam packed day – started off with meeting SpB then heading to the city – Bryant Park Starbucks for coffee, Asics store to have our feet measured and our running gait/stride analyzed (I was only the 4th person in over 600 to have exactly the same size feet; down to the hundreth MM!) – HB and BB joined us here, then Jamba Juice for BB to grab a snack, then Bryant Park – our original destination – for ice skating. I stayed on the sidelines and was so hungry, I ran over to Le Pain Quotidien for a bite… before dinner… but they finished skating in record time (!?) and came to join me. AB left work to join us as we headed to karaoke… singing Britney, Pink, Hilary Duff… to our hearts’ content until ShB joined us, so we headed to Resto for dinner. An amazing and busy day, yes it was, but that’s how I like it. SpB had a blast and enjoyed her 30th birthday very much!
But as SpB and I left Resto and headed towards the train station, deciding to walk to W4th so we wouldn’t have to transfer and because it was a really gorgeous night out, we passed by McDonald’s on 6th and… 18th?… and saw this. Sidewalk meal. I blurted out, “That’s SO sad! Someone lost his lunch,” and we started giggling hysterically, I just had to take a photograph of this sad, sad meal. I guess they managed to hold onto their drink, though.
