Celebrating StB’s birthday, we returned to Yakiniku West (and basically repeated the entire meal, so no new review), then hit up Giana for wine & dessert. After the disappointing panna cotta at ‘inoteca, I had to order the panna cotta. It was very prettily plated… and while the texture was a little too firm for me (I know – Goldilocks, anyone?), it was pleasant enough.
While the place was mostly empty inside, there was an outdoor garden in the back that seemed to have more people. Our server (owner?) spoke with a heavy accent (Italian?) and was incredibly funny and charming as he took our orders and didn’t bother us while we laughed it up, happy to welcome StB home for the weekend.
It was a nice place to hang out… I might go back if I were in the area for a drink or snack. Our bottle of wine wasn’t expensive, nor were our desserts.
