CUPCAKE WARS!!!

I continue to have technical difficulties (let’s just say I was up way past midnight last night, cursing, frustrated, and really angry that a seemingly intelligent young woman who should be able to figure this out couldn’t…), but I promise Vegas posts will resume shortly!  Hopefully I will be able to resolve the problems over the weekend! 

In any case, I wanted to alert you guys to something super cool going on: CUPCAKE WARS!  (I know it says April 4 & 5, but it’s been extended to a few weekends now.  Long story, delicious results!) 

Allison- a high school friend of mine and one of the nicest people you’ll ever meet- and her husband Matt own a delicious gourmet market in Bay Ridge.  They recently added cupcakes to the list of delicious homemade items they sell, and have started a friendly competition over what cupcakes to include.  Each week, they’ve been adding different ones to the list; you can vote by buying a cupcake of your choice, or buying all of them (my favorite option!) and going to their blog to vote/comment afterwards!  How cool is that?  The customer really does get to decide 🙂

Last I heard, this weekend is tres leches cupcakes with dulce de leche icing (OMG DROOL) vs. tiramisu cupcakes (OMG YOU KNOW HOW I LOVE TIRAMISU!).  I will definitely be going down there and doing my part – VOTE or … well, not die, but go hungry! Miss out! whatever!  Just go and get yourself some of these yummy cupcakes!  Whoever loses has to do the walk of shame!
