I was digging through my personal blog and stumbled across some food entries. Thought I’d amuse you with them… (I added the links to the related posts; The Feisty Foodie didn’t exist back then).

BF and I drove down to Baltimore, passing through Philly on the way down to get cheesesteaks at my favorite place and on the way up to go to Morimoto.
Here is the food run down, with side notes:
Saturday, lunch: Jim’s for cheesteaks, the line wrapped around the block but was well worth the wait. DELICIOUS.
Arrived at our hotel at night and headed to TGI Friday’s for drinks. The mudslide the friendly bartender made was better than any other Friday’s mudslide I’ve ever had.
Sunday, breakfast: Included at our hotel was a complimentary breakfast. But wow, this place did it up right. Sausage, scrambled eggs, fresh waffles (make them yourself), yogurt, NutriGrain bars, Pop Tarts, muffins (blueberry and chocolate), bagels, toast, etc. Coffee and lots of flavored creamers, juices, yummy!
Sunday, lunch: Pier 4, which was right next to the National Aquarium (where we spent the morning)- popcorn shrimp and a bacon cheddar burger that was really good. Delicious!
Sunday, dinner: Philips at Inner Harbor- NOT AS GOOD AS PHILIPS IN OCEAN CITY! I was pretty mad at how small and ghetto the place was, despite coming recommended by the sister. Was pissed/annoyed that we even bothered going since we were still full from lunch!
Monday, breakfast: Same deal as before except with bacon instead of sausage this time (BF prefers bacon)
Monday, lunch: First, Faidley’s for crabcakes– seriously, these were the best ever. EVER. Then, Costas Inn for some [whole] CRABS!!! OMG, they were sooooo big and juicy and delicious and wonderful and yum yum yum. *cries* I’ll be eating more later *tears of happiness dripping down my face*
Monday, dinner: MORIMOTO in Philly. Skipped the omakase after some serious thought and had the Toro Appetizer (delectable and perfect, as always), the Kobe Beef Short Rib and Yuzu Lobster (delicious, though I won’t order it again- I’m not sure I like Kobe beef), and finished with the wasabi tiramisu since I love tiramisu (didn’t care for the wasabi taste after a few bites). BF had the Kobe beef tartare (so soft!), Spider roll and eel/cucumber roll (they put asparagus in the Spider roll and interestingly, no sauce for the eel roll, which made it a bit dry), and finished with the hazelnut praline tart (BF didn’t care much for the mint they ground up and put on the bottom). I still love the food- must try other items next time, that’s all! I’m drooling a bit thinking about it (not out of my mouth, just.. my mouth is watering, okay?!)
That was my weekend. (Perfect.) How was yours?

Stop laughing at some of my sillier moments. I’m allowed to like some things and my tastes can change. Hmph. You food snob ;P
