I have to admit, I don’t usually tune to the Travel Channel, but I recently caught a few episodes of this show and really like it. Adam has a great sense of humor, one that I can relate to, and he seems genuine, like someone I would hang out with and we’d do the things he does anyway, even without a camera rolling. You know? I like that.
So here’s the info on tonight’s show, 10 pm on the Travel Channel:
Adam’s chow-down quest brings him to Seattle, Washington this week for a big, breakfast challenge. But first, he visits Red Mill Burgers, which has been serving up delicious milkshakes, onion rings (voted best in the country), and a wide variety of award-winning burgers. Since Adam can’t leave Seattle without sampling some Pacific-fresh seafood, his next stop is The Crab Pot. Here, fried fish lovers devour the Captain’s Combo, an overflowing plate of shrimp, cod, halibut, clam strips, and calamari.
Hopefully Adam saves some room for these week’s challenge: the Southwestern Exposure at Beth’s Cafe. Open since 1954, Beth’s is a Seattle institution. The challenge is a 12-egg omelet filled with cheddar cheese, sour cream, salsa, and beef brisket chili. Normally, only one person takes on this challenge at a time, but Adam is going head to head with someone who has already defeated this breakfast behemoth. The first to finish the omelet wins. Does Adam have what it takes to beat one of Seattle’s best eaters?
Though I won’t get home from class until after the show, they usually re-broadcast it at either 11 pm or midnight, so I’ll probably try to catch that! As always, happy eating 🙂 and enjoy!!!
PS Seattle is the next and last city on my list of domestic cities to visit…

I always see commercials for this show on Travel Channel (I'm a big Zimmern & Bourdain fan) but never remembered when it was on. I may have to look into this show. It's seems gross yet intriguing at the same time for me!
P.S. Orla Kiely stuff was online this week and of course what I wanted was already sold out! *peeved*
