Friday night’s dinner.
From left to right: Parmagiano-Reggiano, dried cherries, Pecorino-Romano, smoked almonds, Piave, and mixed olives (these came from a jar and sucked). [All cheeses purchased from Murray’s Cheese.]
BF came over shortly with thinly sliced prosciutto di parma, a crusty baguette, and roasted red peppers, and we were set for some TV. Heart that boy.
Simple, to the point, and delicious. And yes – we drank the 2007 Reuscher-Haart Piesporter Treppchen Riesling that I’ve mentioned before, and it surprisingly went well with the cheeses, especially with the dried cherries, super ‘lish.
Heaven.
Happy eating!!!

We do something simple like that every once in a while too. Sometimes dinners like that are simply the best. I also like to pick so doing vegetable or cheese/cracker platters are great for me…especially if we’re watching a movie.
