When Worlds … errr … Hobbies Collide

I’ve never kept it a secret that I like comic books.  I extoll my virtues loudly, one of them being that I am a dork, and I even attend regularly (does two years in a row, with plans to go next year, count as regularly?) NY Comicon.  What’s my point?  Well, it’s just that it comes as a surprise to me to see two of my “hobbies” come crashing into each other so neatly…

I received an email recently announcing that Iron Chef Masaharu Morimoto will be a guest of honor at the upcoming NY Anime Festival!!!  We all know how much I adore Morimoto… my all-time favorite meal EVERRR was prepared personally by the Iron Chef himself (over two years later, and I’m still savoring those pictures and taste-memories…). 

Unfortunately, I’m not into anime anymore, and never appreciated manga for what it’s worth, so I will not be attending, but if you go… say hi for me!
