Sephora Scent Samplers: For Her or For Him

November 23, 2007 by Feisty Foodie 3 Comments

Something slightly different from the norm…

I’ve been really girly lately and obsessed with makeup and Sephora lately…

Scent Sampler Gift Certificate For Her

For my birthday, my best friend LTS surprised me with the above gift.  Everyone agrees I am impossible to shop for: if I want it, I buy it for myself, and I am incredibly picky so when I want something, I really have to have the exact one I want or it’s not what I want.  (AKA: I’m a brat.)  So it was incredibly surprising that this went over as well as it did with me- I’d actually seen it on the Sephora website, kind of wanted it but then thought I’d wait a while before I started up with fragrance (let me work on makeup first…).

The very cool thing about this is what a great deal it is.  Here’s how it works.  You buy the above Scent Sampler for $50 from Sephora.  It contains 10 sample sizes of their most popular scents, a refillable atomizer for your purse, and a gift certificate.  So basically you sample all of their top selling fragrances and decide which one you like, then fill out the gift certificate with your choice and bring it to your nearest Sephora store to redeem it for a full size bottle of the fragrance you chose!!!  How cool is that?  It’s an awesome deal as all of the fragrances included range in price from $42-50 each.

I’m debating still because I can’t choose among Vera Wang’s Princess, Aquolina’s Pink Sugar, … there are a bunch of great fragrances in here!  (I won’t lie, some of them I do not like at all.  But that makes it easier to choose!)

A great gift for the holidays… maybe even a stocking stuffer.

I know, totally unrelated to food… but I had to share this incredible find with everyone!

PS They have one for men, too.

Happy shopping!!!
I finished Christmas shopping in record time this year, on November 13th. 🙂

Wow, that’s awesome. Thanks for sharing! btw, this is Delphiki from xanga. 😛

I’ve been going through the same thing lately, getting kinda girlie and playing around with makeup. I got Sephora’s holiday catalog a few weeks back and I was browsing that at work for a while.

I absolutely LOVE Sephora but clueless when it comes to makeup. I started exploring the makeup world last winter. Sephora’s 20% off discount code is FF2007 and it’s good from 11/25-12/31. It’s only good for online purchases.

Makeupalley.com is a really good page to visit before you make a beauty purchase.

You posted “FF2007 and it’s good from 11/25-12/31” – Actually that is incorrect. That code ended on 11/21/07.
