So, a few weeks ago, using one of the promotion codes I’ve been posting, I received a sample of the “Winter Squash Ravioli with Roasted Autumn Vegetables” and of course, as is my habit, ate it for lunch a day or so after receiving it.
The vegetables cooked thoroughly but not overly much, so they still had a good crisp to them (which I prefer). Everything was tasty though.
The ravioli was on the bottom, I suppose to keep it moist and from drying out, which couldn’t be helped. The edges of the ravioli were slightly crispy, but in a good way (personally), and I enjoyed this dish overall.
I don’t think it would be worth paying for, however. I’ll pass.
Thanks, but next!

Totally agree with everything you said… although are any of the free promos from Fresh Direct worth paying for? I don’t think I’ve bought a single one after trying it…

I actually bought the jambalaya soup after getting a freebie. It was on sale, though. Don’t know that I would pay full price for a soup when I can make them so easily. We made the mistake of getting the salmon during the ravioli or salmon promotion. Ick.
