The Arizona Biltmore boasts a few restaurants to its name. Unfortunately, we were unable to sample the high end restaurant they boast: Wright’s at the Biltmore (named thusly after Frank Lloyd Wright, who had a hand in designing the resort). As it was both my companion and my first time in Phoenix, we wanted to try something local. Something really specific to this part of the country. Of course, I had no idea what kind of cuisine it was- Southwestern, yes, but I’d always heard that description used interchangeably with Tex-Mex. Roy’s in Scottsdale My huge endorsement for Roy’s is that this is the 5th time I’ve been to any Roy’s nationwide, with a strong desire to go to the flagship, original in Hawaii as well.
