Like last year, Circo – one of the better upscale-casual restaurants in NYC – is again throwing their annual Celebration of Kale special menu for three days only, starting today through Wednesday. Four courses for $49, celebrating kale to its utmost.
The menu for this year!
For my first course, at the end of a very indulgent week, I opted for the salad. Topped with the most lusciously silken poached egg on toast, the pile of greens was delightfully bitter.
Classic potage strewn throughout with veggies.
Beef cheek – so good.
The mango sorbet was like eating a very cold pureed mango.
A plate of small cookie nibbles was also served, but I didn’t take a photo. This menu is only available for the next few days, so I highly recommend you check it out – $49, 4 courses, impeccable service in a whimsical environment… yes, please!
March 30, 31, April 1.
