I know how you all love giveaways, and this one is extra special. I post about all these events I go to but aside from drooling enviously, so freakin’ what? Don’t you guys want to join me sometime?
Oh yes, dearies. I’ve been invited to dine at an underground restaurant, Sotto Terra, featuring George Duran and Phil Lempert, on August 25th… and one of you lucky readers will be able to attend with me – and bring a guest as well!!!
The dinner is on August 25th from 6pm – 9pm, in Manhattan (full details will be given to the winner only), so you must be available to attend this dinner on that night. And yes, I will be at the same dinner! You don’t have to sit with me if you don’t want to though 😉
All you have to do is leave a comment with the answer to this question:
What is the Christmas morning tradition in my family? (Search the blog to find it.)
If more than one person gets the answer right, I will use Random.org to choose a winner.
Good luck!
EDITOR’S NOTE: This contest is actually going to end MONDAY, AUGUST 22, to give time for email turnaround! ENTER NOW.
Usual rules apply: giveaway will run for one week from today, winner will be chosen via Random.org (unless only one person gets the answer right), not open to Feisty Foodie family members (both blood relatives and employees), this one is open to NYC metro area residents only (people who will be able to attend said dinner on stated date&time). Contest prize is provided by Sotto Terra; I will not receive monetary compensation for this post, though I will attend the same dinner.

To everyone else: the correct answer was I cook dinner for everyone; the youngest was true until my sister had kids. They are not allowed/able to actually cook just yet 🙂 I accepted “Yvo cooks breakfast” or Monique’s answer because she followed up with the explanation. Sorry!

Running to the fireplace, where my sock would be hanging, and finding nothing there, and then screaming at my parents b/c they don’t believe in Christmas for Jews…Then they would throw my pizza which i ordered for dinner off the deck when I wouldn’t share it…..oh wait, that was yom kippur.
Goats says
Oh wait, you actually meant YOUR christmas tradition. I can’t do the date, so I’ll just hope my story is as entertaining as it is sadly true…
