SpB says this is the armory – I snagged this picture while waiting at a red light on my way to Brooklyn Flea… for the SOS bake sale! Pretty, right?
Here’s a second picture. I actually had a later shift so I missed some of the cool-kid bloggers 
but my offering of sea salt dusted chocolate chip cookies (both dark and milk) did pretty well, selling out in about 2 hours (my cookies are in the black container in the middle-ish of the pic, and the open bowl). Yay! I don’t bake much, but that which I do bake… I do well! I didn’t even have to bribe too many friends to come visit and buy my goodies… which was an extra yay feeling that I sold out without resorting to friends buying me out 
(Yes, I was sincerely worried that mine wouldn’t move, but it turns out that if you put “sea salt” [or "bacon"] on anything baked, it will be popular. Shhh. That’s a secret…)
A wonderful day that started off helping and ended snuggling in bed with the BF. Who could ask for a better Saturday?
Glad to hear bake sale went well.
Wish I could have tried both types of cookies. MmMmMm chocolate!!
