Project 365: Day 105

I spent the entirety of today baking cookies for a special project tomorrow, then headed into the rainy city for girls’ night.  As I parked, I was momentarily terrified when a strange man knocked on my window and gave me some crazy sob story about needing money for gas and how he’d give me his license, registration, gold ring, blah, blah, blah, for a bit of cash.  Um, no.  I eventually managed to get out of the car, unscathed, and walk away. 

An unexpected guest at dinner threatened to put a damper on my evening, but honestly?  I don’t let people who don’t like me ruin my night; there are too many people who don’t like me for me to let that shit get to me.  I didn’t invite her and I don’t care that this is a public forum – it is also public knowledge what happened between us (due to her telling everyone we know), and I don’t appreciate her being rude to my friend.  Whatever.  I squish people when they get too annoying  

The rain started driving hard as just as I began driving everyone home.  Craziness.  The above?  A picture of my plate at dinner.  Not sure I’ll bother reviewing the place since all of the pictures are just about as dark… but cheap eats in the West Village!
