For ANM’s birthday recently, we gathered at a West Village restaurant for brunch: Arte Pasta, where I ate a few times but totally don’t remember at all since it was pre-Feisty Foodie days.
KC ordered the chicken parm, and seemed to like it sufficiently.
SpB ordered one of the Saturday brunch specials- an omelet- for $8. Not bad, if you ask me; she said it was really good.
HB ordered the steak & eggs, another Saturday brunch special, for $11. She said there was way more food than she’d thought, and finishing it nearly put her into food coma. I presume it was good if she finished it all!
My Eggs Copenhagen for $10 – Eggs Benedict but with smoked salmon instead of ham/Canadian bacon – was pretty yummy and definitely filling as well. Not amazing but I wasn’t looking for amazing here, just well-executed, properly done. And that’s what I got – cover anything in Hollandaise and I’ll probably love eating it 😉
Yvo says: Inexpensive and yummy, I will definitely be back for cheap brunch that accepts reservations (important as you get older! I don’t believe in waiting!). They also offer all-you-can-drink with your brunch for an additional $5 on either Saturday or Sunday, which is a pretty good deal, though I’d guarantee you that this would mean requiring a shovel to scrape me off the floor…
recommended cheap brunch option – especially for us boozehounds

I want some chicken parm and steak & eggs. Just not in one sitting so I can enjoy them. *drools*
The $5 added AYCD sounds very promising!

I love this place! I always take my out of town guests that do not like to spend a lot. It is great food at a good price in a nice location! Nice review!
