A while back, my darling BF asked me if I wanted another dog bed; our dog (the one that lives with him) had outgrown this one, so he was going to throw it out but thought my smaller dog might like it. At first, I shrugged and stuck it next to her (larger, puffy) bed in my bedroom, which she only uses when I’m not home. She doesn’t like our dog, so she didn’t like the way it smelled, though I began sticking all her toys in it so she at least went in it sometimes. But when I started school, I began working at my desktop computer a lot more often, and discovered she couldn’t sit in my lap while I do so… so I put the bed next to my desk.
Problem solved: that is how she sleeps next to my feet while I work. The light of my life, she is.
At first glance, I thought your dog was sleeping in a giant coconut shell. ;P
I guess she peed enough on it to mask the other dog’s scent.
