The last lunch.
A day of craziness: packing up all my personal effects, getting everything together, wrapping up all the loose ends, and everyone stopping by to say goodbye to me… it was a day where I thought I was going to yank all of my hair out with frustration. But I managed to get a hold on my emotions, my frustration, and everything… to make it to my farewell happy hour at Ulysses where my coworkers sent me off with shots, drinks, and gift cards (thank you again everyone… they will be well-used! I already bought myself some groceries and some school supplies 😉 hehe!). I was pretty emotional but nothing a couple of shots didn’t help!
As for my lunch, it was an odd day. I decided to go for street meat because, well, how often will I be eating street meat once I’m going to class in Queens? Not often, I would imagine. So I went to Michael’s, where they use chunks of lamb for lamb over rice… and got that. Yummy, though I had to inhale it quickly and get back to my shiet to get out of there on time.
Farewell, Downtown Lunch’ing…
