Friday night’s dinner.
From left to right: Parmagiano-Reggiano, dried cherries, Pecorino-Romano, smoked almonds, Piave, and mixed olives (these came from a jar and sucked). [All cheeses purchased from Murray's Cheese.]
BF came over shortly with thinly sliced prosciutto di parma, a crusty baguette, and roasted red peppers, and we were set for some TV. Heart that boy.
Simple, to the point, and delicious. And yes – we drank the 2007 Reuscher-Haart Piesporter Treppchen Riesling that I’ve mentioned before, and it surprisingly went well with the cheeses, especially with the dried cherries, super ‘lish.
Heaven.
Happy eating!!!

Simple…but delicious sounding! =D
Is there anything more to say?
I had this same type diiner a few weeks ago, only different cheeses. The best meal I’ve had in a long time.
mmmm cheese. Now I’m craving a grilled cheese thanks to last night but alas all I have is american slices.
We do something simple like that every once in a while too. Sometimes dinners like that are simply the best. I also like to pick so doing vegetable or cheese/cracker platters are great for me…especially if we’re watching a movie.
