StarbucksStore.com Giveaway!

August 10, 2011 by Feisty Foodie

I don’t much talk about it here – especially because some people who write for Feisty Foodie are coffee snobs (cough, cough, Beer Boor, cough), and dislike what he sneeringly refers to as “coffee drinks” – but I love Starbucks.  I love my morning soy latte, made to perfection, high in protein and low in calories, the perfect breakfast replacement.  I love green tea frappuccinos, salted caramel mochas, skinny caramel macchiatos…

I love Starbucks.

So I was pretty excited when they announced the newly renovated StarbucksStore.com – the perfect destination for gifts, treats, and merchandise is now better.  Why better?  How better?  Well, they now offer things like:

  • Coffee & tea ‘tours’ – explore various coffees/teas offered by Starbucks; compare cup by cup to detect the nuances of each one
  • Starbucks Reserve Coffees – usually only available in select stores, now you can have it delivered to your home instead of hunting it down
  • Coffee & tea subscriptions – that’s right, set up a schedule for your deliveries

And much more!  Check out the website a bit to see all that you can get… and to make a wishlist for when you win this contest!

All you have to do to enter to win a $100 gift card redeemable at StarbucksStore.com is leave a comment below letting us know: what do you appreciate most about being able to shop online at StarbucksStore.com? Maybe it’s gift giving, or the ability to find rare items, or access to Starbucks Reserve… let us know in comments!

I will choose a winner using Random.org in a week’s time and notify the winner via email, so please use a real email address.

Good luck!

Usual rules apply: giveaway will run for one week from today, winner will be chosen via Random.org, not open to Feisty Foodie family members (both blood relatives and employees), open to residents of the continental US. Contest prize is provided by Starbucks; I did not receive compensation of any kind for this post nor any goodies.  This one is all for you guys! 🙂

I love how I can find rare Starbucks mugs! I started a tradition to collect all of Starbucks cups from different cities/countries 🙂

I’ll most appreciate the one less bday gift to buy for the Starbucks lovers among my friends.

I’m usually a DD/ Joe person. Starbucks has been a good iced coffee alternative though. I have laid-off on their fraps but was a fan of their java-chip and green tea concoctions.

  8. Amber says

I love being able to buy subscriptions for friends and families as gifts.

  9. Diana says

I’m also a big fan of setting up subscriptions for my family, they’re all crazy about coffee.

  10. Michelle says

StarbucksStore.com would be an easy way to send housewarming gifts to my friends who are moving into their first home/apartment outside of NYC – i.e., coffee maker and their favorite Starbucks blend.

  11. BeerBoor says

    August 10, 2011 at 3:20 pm

Heyyyyyy. I simply think their coffee isn’t worth what they charge (and frankly, they need to learn how to roast beans). And I don’t sneer when I say “coffee drinks” — it’s just a beverage that isn’t coffee. It’s like saying a Red Bull and vodka is Red Bull.

Also, I would like to mention that I can’t win this.

  12. Shannon says

    August 10, 2011 at 3:20 pm

Being away at school in the middle of nowhere (without a Starbucks, sigh!) is hellish, but the Starbucks store enables me to keep up with my addiction.

I love being able to add money to my Starbuck’s card (which is 100% easier to do online)! Before every test, I have to have my coffee. It’s sort of my secret weapon. And being able to put a set amount on my card for the month is a great way to monitor how much I’m spending.

I do not drink coffee, but I adore tea. And I adore Tazo tea most. And while my supermarket carries my Organic Chai, it doesn’t carry it in loose leaf. There are many Tazo loose leaf teas on StarbucksStore.com! I am a happy girl again!
