The last 7 lunches downtown before I leave forever! When I heard the Schnitzel Truck was downstairs – but not the Wafels & Dinges truck WHICH WAS SUPPOSED TO BE WTFFF FAIL – I didn’t even think twice. That’s something interesting that I probably won’t be eating much of once I no longer work in Manhattan, so I headed over and grabbed myself a pork schnitzel. After I was done eating, a friend of mine asked me how I could eat so much at Bouchon Bakery, then even more at Big Nick’s, and then go to my sister’s and eat a full birthday meal… and the next day feel OK eating schnitzel. The answer: it didn’t even occur to me that this was something to NOT do! HAHAHA 🙂
The rest of the day was pretty uneventful. Nothing horrible but nothing wonderful either (well, Daddy dropped Keywee off to me; she’d spent the night at his place, and I missed her something fierce)… just a quiet day winding down my time at work.
