FREE PIE

September 24, 2008 by Feisty Foodie 7 Comments

I’m in San Francisco right now, but I had to share this with y’all so you could enjoy, even if I can’t.

FREE PIE! FREE PIE! FREE PIE!!!

On Monday, September 29th, from 7am to 9am at Broadway & 44th Street (yes, Times Square) there will be FREE PIE at The Pie Hole! A mobile pie van, if you will. They will be there promoting Pushing Daisies’ second season on ABC.

Free pie, pie cutters, pie paraphernalia, etc.

Okay, because I am either slightly stupid, or because I can’t figure out how to add these pictures to this post (in my defense! I’m on a different computer and well, there are external factors such as someone irritating me that are distracting me), here’s a link to pictures from other stops around the country that The Pie Hole has made!

If you go – and you definitely should go! – please take pictures and let me know how it is!!!

Ciao,
Yvo

I love Pushing Daisies. It is beautiful to look at, the characters are really terrific and it keeps me smiling every week. Seriously, If you have never seen if, go check out http://abc.go.com/primetime/pushingdaisies/index?pn=index. I promise, you will want pie.

I went to 42d and Bway this morning. I arrived at 7:30. No pie. No pie-mobile. I was bitterly disappointed. I sent “thepiemaker” an e-mail of complaint, but I don’t expect to hear back. Will report if I do.

@Anonymous (who missed the pie) – I’m with the Pushing Daisies Mobile Pie Hole team. We’re very sorry to hear that you missed the pie. We promise that we were there at 7:30 with LOTS of pie! It appears that you went to 42nd and Broadway when the Good Morning America station is at 44th and Broadway (that’s where they shoot the show). Our team was right there and we even had people walking down as far as 43rd to let people know. Thank you for coming out and we’re very sorry to hear that you missed us. We love our fans and would never deprive them of free pie on purpose! 🙂

    -Pushing Daisies Team
