I’m sure I’ve mentioned my propensity towards chips. I’m not a sweets kind of gal (ha, some might say “OBVIOUSLY”) but I love crunchy, salty things, and chips are right up my alley. I’ve enjoyed Kettle chips in the past – love how crunchy they are – so when they launched a reduced fat line, I was excited to see if they’re just as good as the originals. I can honestly say that I didn’t notice the loss of fat – they’re just as crunchy, salty goodness as they used to be. The one “complaint” I have is that the [...]

I’ve been Tweeting recently a lot about the love that dare not say its name: liquid cheese. I love liquid cheese. I’m not really ashamed of it, because I’ve always said if it tastes good, eat it. And to me, a jar of Tostitos salsa con queso along with a bag of Tostitos hint of lime chips… tastes really good. (This isn’t even a sponsored post… I just really like their products.) A night in with a DVD or just some TV, chips and dip, I’m happy. But… as much as I like it, I know that it’s not that [...]

Last Friday, I headed into the city for a quick lunch with a buddy of mine… who we’ll call Nosey (hah!)… at Chelsea Market. Being a very, very unadventurous eater (I’m not sure Nosey will read this, but either way: doesn’t eat rice, doesn’t eat pasta – that right there my friends will tell you…), he chose Friedman’s Lunch, where he’s apparently been eating lunch 2x a week since he started working in the building (one guess which company… oh, the friggin’ irony). He finds the food consistent and reliable, though, he joked “everything on the menu is about $15… [...]

I’ve mentioned Blue Smoke in the past with regard to Citi Field – their stand there used to have really delicious chipotle wings that they’ve since removed from the menu (yes I’m still bitter). But I’d never visited the actual restaurant, and wanted to, so I grabbed three friends and headed over there. Which 3 friends? Actually, the three friends I have that have never said “No, that’s too much food, we shouldn’t order so much” to me… I know these are not clear pictures – sorry! We started with housemade BBQ potato chips, served with a side of… blue [...]
PopChips!

After my recent slightly negative review of PopChips, a representative of PopChips actually emailed me to ask if they could send me a ‘care package’ to change my mind about PopChips. I was surprised because I didn’t think I was that negative about them – I just happened to have tried a flavor I didn’t like – but PopChips are expensive, and I wasn’t going to turn them down – not on my poor college student budget! I wasn’t quite sure what a care package was, but it arrived a few days later, I found out: a chip clip (to [...]
