I flew in from Napa Valley on Saturday; when we booked the tickets, I insisted on being back in time for this. The final game at Shea. What should have been the final regular season game at Shea, with a few postseason games tucked under our belts, some great memories more to come, and … well. Ah, baseball again. Sorry to do this to y’all, but look,. it’s food-geared, so bear with me. When I read about Mama’s of Corona on Endless Simmer, I was incredibly excited. I guess it makes sense though – you see, I have a Sunday plan, which means every Sunday that the Mets play at Shea, I’ve got tickets to that game.
