Restaurant Rip-Off: Soy Glazed Sablefish

This picture may look familiar to you.  It was taken at Roy’s back in July 2006, one of my favorite Asian fusion restaurants, of a dish that I discovered, in that instant, I would love.  Crave.  And return to order a few times more.  I just really like this dish- misoyaki butterfish, as they call it on their menu.

Valentine’s Dinner

Someone recently suggested to me that because I cook [nearly] every night, cooking dinner for BF wasn’t special.  Bah, I say to this naysayer.  It’s not just about cooking, it’s about what you cook and how you approach it.  It’s special because it’s yummy, and though I possibly would if there weren’t such things as expanding waistlines, growing cholesterol, etc., we simply don’t eat like this every night.
