Back towards the beginning of the year, CT and I learned that CT’s Sister’s Sister-in-Law would be getting married in Panama at the end of July. Why Panama? The Bride’s parents live down there now full-time. We learned that Panama has a huge ex-pat population mostly because it is so cheap and the U.S. Dollar is the functional currency down there. When we were finishing up lunch at Stout with CT’s Mom, she needed some dessert to balance out the salty meal. Fresh & Fast Burgers

I’m never at a loss for a good burger in the city, and of course I have my favorites that I return to time after time. Raja Sweets & Fast Food

After the first time I went to Ranger BBQ, Noah and I decided to wander into a nearby store that promised kulfi, a type of Indian ice cream.  Something in the pastry case caught his eye, so he also picked up two cookies.  I think these were pistachio – I wound up trying a little bit, and it was chewy, nutty, and tasty.  I don’t know that this was something I would go out of my way to pick up for myself – if you really like pistachios, though, this might be to your liking.  (Perhaps Noah will chime in [...]
