THURSDAYS with TT: DBGB Kitchen & Bar

Over the past couple of months I have become quite the food blogger. I or (CT) bring a camera to every restaurant we go to. Since Yvo has been busy with school, I am stepping up and will now have a weekly column, Tuesdays with TT. Bon Appetit!

Wafels & Dinges

Resto

SpB’s birthday passed recently, and after a day of feet-measuring, ice skating, karaoke, a ton of fun, we headed to Resto for some grub.  Yeah, we’d been there before – three years ago – but hell she wanted frites and we were nearby.  And I’ve been dreaming about these deviled eggs since three years ago… they were even more amazing this time around!  Of course, since I’m also way more conscious about my weight and health this time around, I opted to share these and only eat one piece.  That ‘pork toast’ bit on the bottom? crisp with a delicious [...]

Clearly I haven’t been eating out a lot lately, hence the lack of posts, nor cooking anything new. After the new year, however, exciting news and exciting plans will be announced… and Feisty Foodie will once again be updated more regularly!

AOC

For HB’s recent birthday, the old FC reunited to take her to AOC, her last FC pick- we didn’t get up to it before we disbanded. 

Per usual, StB ordered two appetizers to make her meal.  The above were her escargots, which she said were good, but I don’t believe she was WOW’d by them.  Her review here: http://swanchen.blogspot.com/2007/12/aoc.html

I’m not sure who ordered the shrimp for the table, but these were huge and quite yummy with the dipping sauce, which was tangy and sweet at the same time.  I’m also not sure if this was intended but there were 6 [...]
