Last month, CT took a random Monday off from work. Since she works up in Stamford, she obviously doesn’t have even half of the lunch options that we have in Manhattan. When she has the rare weekday off, she likes to take full advantage of a lunch she otherwise would normally not be able to get. On this day, she decided to make a return visit to Num Pang since she liked it so much last time and they had some new menu additions. CT & I have been back for from our Panama trip for a little while now and already have a bunch of NYC based posts for you. Rather than let them get “stale,” we are gonna have a couple bonus posts. I am helping out Yvo this morning with an extra special post. One of the great perks my company has is “Summer Days.” Everyone gets four extra days off between Memorial and Labor Day. Num Pang… Cambodian sandwiches, similar to banh mi. Yes, more hype. I don’t know about $7.50 a sandwich here, but I’ve heard good things, so I was game. HB and I came here after a couple of drinks to sate our hunger. We decided to split two sandwiches, the pulled pork and the five spice glazed pork belly! Mmm, fatty pork belly.
