Mardi Gras, as the name suggests, is a restaurant specializing in Louisiana/New Orleans/Southern/Cajun/Creole cooking. Corner of 49th and 9th AvenueReservations suggested I was very excited to try this place because I’d heard good things about it from John a while back when we had a long discussion over where to get BBQ. Rejoice!!! devoured August 2003 (two visits) Mother’s isn’t exactly- ok, it’s not even in the tourist district. It’s on the edge of the business district, which, lucky for us, meant it was only a block or two away from our hotel. Walking distance.
