I always say I have amazing friends, but you know, I really do. The super talented incredibly wonderful Sarah of Fritos & Foie Gras recently hosted a cocktail party to show off all the ways you can use Tabasco instead of just as a hot sauce on the table that you douse on stuff. We had miniature BLT bites, deviled eggs, sliders, slaws, spicy nuts… tons of great food that she prepared herself.
Crazy woman slaved away all day and the results were fantastic. My personal favorites were the BLT bites and the deviled eggs, but those two items were just chockful of things I love – and nothing was overly spicy. The Tabasco played a nice supporting role, but never overwhelmed.
