I’m sure I’ve mentioned my propensity towards chips. I’m not a sweets kind of gal (ha, some might say “OBVIOUSLY”) but I love crunchy, salty things, and chips are right up my alley. I’ve enjoyed Kettle chips in the past – love how crunchy they are – so when they launched a reduced fat line, I was excited to see if they’re just as good as the originals. I can honestly say that I didn’t notice the loss of fat – they’re just as crunchy, salty goodness as they used to be. The one “complaint” I have is that the salt & vinegar one isn’t as vinegary as one might expect; in my limited experience with that flavor, it’s usually super sour, and these were just not very sour. I ate them happily still – they don’t taste like “diet” chips at all – but they were by no means a flavor I’d recommend for those who like salt & vinegar for the vinegar pucker.
I definitely recommend these for people like me who like salty snacks but don’t want to always eat lots of deep fried fatty things, and hate pretzels. 40% less fat!
I was sent these by Kettle brand chips; opinions expressed within are my own, and I received no monetary compensation for this post.
