Andrea Bocelli VIP Ticket Giveaway!!!

September 8, 2011 by Feisty Foodie 34 Comments

I’ve hinted multiple times that I’d be giving away tickets to the Andrea Bocelli concert in Central Park next week – well here it is!!! The giveaway you’ve all been waiting for!!!

I’m actually giving away something better than just tickets to this free concert – I’m giving away VIP VOUCHERS.

What this means:

These are vouchers that need to be redeemed for VIP tickets at Casa Barilla (September 13 – September 14) beforehand in order to be used for entrance at the concert itself on September 15th.

VIP tickets guarantee you seating in front of the general admission picnic area and dinner prepared for you by the Barilla chefs.

(General admission tickets that were distributed for free to the public allow for picnic style seating only and food for purchase.)

Thanks to the generous folks at Barilla, I have TWO SETS OF VOUCHERS to give away to you, my dear readers!  That’s TWO VOUCHERS in each set, making it a total of FOUR VOUCHERS.

What do you need to do to enter?  Really simple: just tell me below in comments what you’ve seen posted here about Barilla that most interested you – a recipe, a fact, tip, whatever.  I will pick a winner on Sunday, September 11, and contact them about meeting me to get the vouchers as soon as possible.

Good luck!

Rules and restrictions: winner will be chosen via Random.org, not open to Feisty Foodie family members (both blood relatives and employees), open to those who can make it to the concert in NYC on September 15 and can meet beforehand to pick up vouchers. Contest prize is provided by Barilla.  Opinions expressed are my own.

Best thing I’ve read is that Barilla was donating so much money to Food Bank of NY with almost nothing in return.

The cooking classes! I would love love love to go to the ICU and study all the wonderful techniques, but alas I live in reality and have to keep my 9-5 job…but a girl can dream!!! My mom would just love to see Andrea Bocelli, he was her and my dad’s favorite opera singer,..and since my dad’s passing in Dec. last year, there hasn’t been much to make my mom smile…I think this might just do the trick!

I love the tips given by the cooking class on olive oil. Face it we all have olive oil in our kitchens and some olive oils are pretty expensive! The fact that the chef explained how the olive oil changes taste when heated and to use some on pasta after plating is amazingly simple, but for most of us a new concept. I plan on using alot of the tips on my future barilla pasta meals.

I love the new line of PLUS Pasta. I’ve changed my diet and pasta was one thing on the list that was elminated first but now this line of pasta offers so much more. “Made with golden semolina and wholesome flaxseed, spelt, oats, barley, and legumes” … can’t go wrong with that!

Best thing I read was Barilla’s Meal for a Meal event. I love that not only did they give away food kits, they even donated money to the Food Bank of New York! Talk about being generous!!

I loved the “troccoli con verdure e pecorino romano” dish with zucchini and eggplant that you made at the Eataly cooking class.

Now about those VIP tickets:) I would love to win them for my daughter, a cancer survivor that has been through so much lately due to her cancer treatments. She’s been listening to Bocelli’s music through the hardest times and this would mean soooo much for her.

I think Barilla deserves a lot of good karma for its donations to Food Bank. If corporations are people too then Barilla is a great person for being altruistic unlike most corporations!
