Sake Tasting at Japan Society

Are you interested in entertaining your palate with sake, but don’t know where to turn in order to learn about the range of flavors and styles available? Daunted by the sake selections at your favorite Japanese restaurant?

Japan Society’s 11th Annual Sake Tasting is here for you! Wednesday, May 19, they will hold their annual sake brewing lecture — this year’s topic is on the final steps of sake brewing — followed by a tasting featuring a dozen breweries offering over thirty different sakes.

You may remember Japan Society for their amazing, surreal game show last month during j-cation, in which your very own Feisty Foodie starred. Tickets for the event are $35, and as the tasting will cover quite a number of premium sakes, it’s an exceptionally good deal. You’re sure to come away far more knowledgeable about sake, and isn’t that reason enough to attend?
