Yarrrgh… I wanted to check out a restaurant in the Village that turned out to be closed… on Tuesdays! I should have checked the website before I headed into the city, but I was trying to rush out the door and make an appointment… (which I made in time, thankfully – super excited about that one!) In any case, as I dejectedly walked through the city a bit, I passed by Forbidden Planet – which, arrrgh, had closed just minutes before I walked by! not even any comic book love tonight! – and saw this really sick and twisted window display (right next to the Ugly Doll display, ironically) and had to snap a pic. Can you see what it is? It’s all sorts of dolls/muppets/puppets that have been sprayed yellow, and then dismantled to varying degrees… strung up. Sick!
But someone like me finds it hysterical enough to snap a photo… lol. Yet another fantastic night – I can’t wait for that appointment to turn into something beyond… but again, that’s too cryptic for my readers, right (well just the one)? 😛
Also, a brief mention that today my short story was critiqued for my Creative Writing class, and it was a short story I had a lot of trouble writing… but the feedback was mostly positive, with some minor literary devices that some people liked and others didn’t. It was nice to hear such praise for a short story that I nearly literally bleed for every time I try to write it… and a bit concerning at the same time, because I think it’s time I give up on trying to write an excellent revenge short story (fans of my Serial Thursdays may realize to which short story/ies I refer)… In any case, I was happy that it was mostly well-received. Yay!

Bad case of yellow fever? I can hardly make out what’s in the window. Oh well.
Maybe you should bring back your fiction if you enjoyed that creative outlet…
